Trade Gothic Posters
One of the classes that I am taking this semester is Illustration & Type. These are the first two posters that I designed in the class, which focus on the typeface Trade Gothic. Trade Gothic is a Sans Serif typeface, created by Jackson Burke in 1948. They typeface was commonly used for headlines in newspapers.
Both of these posters were designed on Indesign. The 2nd poster, the newspaper was hand drawn and scanned in. I used both Photoshop and Illustrator before placing it into Indesign.
