Animal Alphabet- Part 3

Since the year began, I have gotten really bad about posting up my work. For the next few weeks I'm hoping to get caught up scanning and posting-up the drawings I've been doing since January.

In my last post a couple of months ago, I wrote about how I have been drawing animals of each letter of the alphabet. These drawings were done from January through February in watercolor and ink. These are letters O-T.  I only have one more set left that I am currently working on!

Animal Alphabet- Part 2

Last Tuesday I posted up drawings of some animals of each letter of the alphabet. These are animals H-N, done in watercolor, and pen and ink. These were completed between September- December 2015. (I didn’t do any during the month of October due to Inktober.) 

I’m currently working on the next set, and when I’m finished I’ll post them up!

November- December 2015 Sketchbook Drawings

These are random drawings from my sketchbook done between November and December 2015. 

Each of the drawings use inkwash, pen and ink, and even some watercolor. The last drawing also has some gesso used into it. 

Animal Alphabet- Part 1

Since August, almost every week in my sketchbook, I have drawn an animal for each letter of the alphabet. Each animal is drawn using watercolor and ink. These are animals A-G, done between August through September.

A Hippo Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! Here is an illustration that I recently compleated, inspired by the song "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas".

Inktober Days 19-29

Here are the final set of Inktober drawings! Like I said in my last post, I've been busy this past month and tried my best to catch-up. I got close to finishing, but not close enough. Thank you everyone for following along!

Everyday this month I am participating in Inktober. For Inktober I decided to do a theme, which is about an Astronaut doing random activities. I am only using pen and ink, and also pen and ink. Here are the first 8 days!

Looking Ahead

This is a self-portrait of myself, that is inspired by my series of work that I have worked on all throughout the school year. This was also my illustration final before graduating.

Wild West Chase

This piece is one of the final pieces in my series about the child's imagination.

For this piece, I have two children pretending to be cowboys and cowgirls out in the wild west. The environment surrounding them is a desert, with cactuses, a cow skull and even a steam train out in the background. Both children are catching a jackrabbit, which is running away from them.
